  • Hi Diane,

Good to see you're here and thank you for the greeting. I do a lot of hiking and was looking for a group of people that enjoyed the same thing and this is what I found. All sorts of good things going on as I can tell. Maybe I'll see you out there.

  • I understand, I have been staying close to home and only going to town once a week because of gas prices and the fact that I live 30miles from town. I am getting ready to go to Monterey for the winter to be closer to Bruce, and so he doesn't have to comute. I guess I can stand to give up the snow for the beach:) Take care and keep in touch!

  • Hi Diane, I am glad Boomer and I got to Turtle Bay early yesterday. It gave us more time to get him focused on me, before we met up with everyone:) He did better than the week before, but I don't think he is ready for the 4 mile uphill yet. We will just keep working everyday towards more difficult walks. I will watch for the next Tuesday location. What a great group of people and dogs!!!!

  • Thanks, I would have much rather been on the walk with all of you instead of in the Dentist chair. Do we walk all winter if the weather is good? Hope to see you soon.

  • Hi Diane! The Flanagan trail hike to the top of Chamise Peak and back is 4.8 miles. I'll bring a map tomorrow when I see you at Anderson Park. No water along the route so walkers need to bring plenty for themselves and dog.
