David, Thunderstorms for Monday, talked to Kate and she agree'd we dont do thunderstorm hikes :-( So canceled the 16th,,, IT did not let me put a reason so I figured i'd let you know this way. ...... Will try to organize it another day.

We don't have a 4 wheel drive or chains. Will we be on paved roads? We have snowshoes but have never tried it. Good for beginners? Do you use poles when snowshoeing? Thanks!
