Be sure to visit both launch and landing areas. Landings are always the most exciting. The roads are very friendly and smooth (for dirt roads)

"I would have loved to come, but my hiking partner and I are hiking the PCT through Lassen Park and south. We hiked from Road 22 to Baum Lake last weekend, and will probably catch hwy 44 to Road 22 next weekend. We're in the area, but have reservations at Drakesbad Saturday night. "Hi! I got roller blades for my birthday more than 10 years ago. I tried them once, fell on my butt, and haven't tried since. So the meetup tomorrow doesn't sound like the right one for me. :) But if you ever put together a skate/meetup for folks like me who are intimidated by their skates, I'd be there if I possibly could."
