On Leash Dog walk and Rally Obedience play day - Anderson River Park

Anderson River Park (map)

Selected By: Robin McHale Ehn

On leash walks with your dog! On August 31st ONLY we will have a Rally Obedience play day! We'll have all of the equipment there and will have fun working through the various activities. Come on and play with your dog, you know you want to!!!
Due to the heat our start time has been changed to 8 AM.

Please be sure to bring lots of water for you and your dog. Please, be aware of where your dogs are at all times during the walk. There are a few places the dogs can get wet, so you may want bring a longer leash for the swimming comfort of your dog.

We will meet at the entrance to the KC grove/kiddie playland, by the large blue metal fish shaped bicycle rack.

We have enjoyed this location as it offers shade/water/and a big grassy area that we can work our dogs on. Often we do some great sit/stays and recall work. All dogs must be non-aggressive and owners must have control of their dogs at all times. :-)

IF anyone knows of a different location w/as many "perks" shade, grassy area, place for dogs to swim - please let Diane or Robin know.
