When you are finished, join several hang glider and paraglider pilots for an evening of soaring the majestic cliffs of Hat Creek Rim. Pilots usually begin launching at about 5:30 to 6:00. They fly up to 4,000 feet over the top of the rim and stay aloft until the sun goes down. Drive back to the landing area to watch the pilots land.
The drive to the top is very easy. Any two wheel drive car, truck or motorhome can easily reach both the launch and landing area. (LZ #2)
