Hi. I am a regular River Trail rollerblader. Join me in a 'round the loop skate from Sundial Bridge to the Ribbon Bridge and back. It takes me about 45 minutes. If you are comfortable on skates, not intimidated by the downhills then this is the skate for you. (I always wear full elbow, knee, wrist protection and head protection and would strongly suggest you do the same!) I try to maintain a 10-12 mph average for a good aerobic workout. I have a large collection of new K2 brakes. If you skate with K2 skates and your brake is worn to a nubbin, let me know and I will bring you a new one at no charge! I got a lifetime supply about 2 lifetimes ago! Let me know in your RSVP if you need a brake. I'll bring the mounting tool too.
Be there: The flower pots in front of the Sundial Bridge (south side) 9:00 a.m., April 30. roll-out time. Jim
I will be there. If the expected crowd does not materialize, we'll all take off in a single pack! Ha. I hope some of you can make it sometime. I will hold a "skating clinic" for the timid, if there is any interest. Redding has some terrific skating treasures besides the River Trail. It would be nice to see some groups out there of varying degrees of skill. Time is still 9:00 at the flower pots. No need to RSVP. I'll just see you there. Jim
Unfortunately I'm down in Houston, TX this week.
