I will be hiking Feather Falls on Sunday the 28th if anyone wants to join me. I won't be able to make the hike in April that is already scheduled, but I'd love company. I've never done the hike before and I understand that the wildflowers will be in full bloom that week.

The hike is said to be about 6 hours total and the drive from Oroville to the trailhead is supposed to be under an hour. There are bathrooms at the trailhead.

Take Highway 70 to Oroville, exit onto Oro Dam Boulevard, head northeast, and turn right after 1.5 miles onto Olive Highway. Go 6 miles and turn right onto Forbestown Road. Go another 6 miles and turn left onto Lumpkin Road. Follow Lumpkin Road 10 miles and turn left at a Feather Falls sign for the final 1.6 miles to the trailhead.

We can meet at the Walmart just off the freeway on Oro Dam Blvd.

This is a dog friendly hike.
