We can take a maximum of 80 bowlers so if you plan on attending you need to sign up now. If you have a guest you'd better add that person now. If you miss out, add yourself to the waiting list and we'll see what happens. I'm holding the reservations open until Friday.

Calling all dorks, nerds and regular folks itching for some action despite the cruddy weather outside. We’re going to bowl our way out of the winter doldrums as we wait, and wait, and wait for Spring to shine down on our withered bodies and numb little brains. Call this event the beginning of the Spring Thaw.

We’ve reserved lanes at Shasta Lanes for an evening of bowling – 2½ hours of pin-knocking and ball-crashing excitement and hilarity!!! It's $10, shoes included. Shasta Lanes is off Lake Boulevard, across from Waterworks Park. We’ve reserved lanes from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for a maximum of 80 people.

We can form loose teams if you like, and be sure to bring whatever kids, spouses and friends who might like to get out and take out the week on a set of 10 hapless pins or, if you are as skilled as I, gutters!!!!

The joint has food and libation but that’s up to you.

RSVP as soon as you can and please be sure you can and want to attend. There may be people on the waiting list and we should let them in on this, if there is room. I’ll figure out how to collect funds later – probably at the event. If you have a team, RSVP as a group!!!
