Easy hike starting at Clear Creek Gorge Overlook parking, 5.0 miles West of 273 on Clear Creek Rd. Watch the salmon going by as we assemble. Can do a two mile shuttle to Gold Dredge or a four mile out and back hike on the clear creek trail which has very little climbing. We'll loop to take a look at the Saeltzer dam site and perhaps smell a spawned out carcas. Dog/goat/llama/horse friendly. We'll take a one mile drive to Readings Bar where gold was discovered in 1848 by Pearson B. Reading. Optional Mexican pastries and coffee at SavMor on 273.
